Small Wooden Earrings - Journey

The Journey small wooden earrings are individually designed and hand painted before being finished with gloss and stirling silver hooks. 

In traditional Aboriginal art places of meeting or connection are usually marked as a circle or set of concentric circles, symbolling places, people, bush tucker, land and waterways. The artworks are depicted from an aerial view, like looking down on a map.

Journey is a representation of travelling and going on a journey. The lines represent the road travelled between resting or camping spots.
