The Sydney Opera House and Australian watchmaker Bausele have collaborated to create a unique and limited watch. The watch face draws inspiration from Opera House architect Jørn Utzon's original design sketches, featuring multiple discs that align each day at 2.45pm to reveal his inspired spherical solution. This is the exact time that Queen Elizabeth II opened the Sydney Opera House on 20 October, 1973.
Inside the crown of every Bausele timepiece is a little piece of Australia. In this case, a piece of ceramic tile from the Sydney Opera House itself can be seen. Known as the 'Sydney Tile', the tiles were made exclusively for the Opera House by Swedish company Höganäs - only a limited number exist.
