Concert Hall Purple Clutch

This clutch has been hand-made using 100% repurposed material including fabrics from our Concert Hall purple seat upholstery covers.

Made exclusively for the Sydney Opera House.

The lining of each clutch will vary and are a selection of 1970s inspired repurposed materials. The images of clutch liner are for reference purposes only. You may receive a different print (clutch liner) to those pictured. The clutch will be picked and packed by our store team member without prearrangement.   There may be slight imperfections as the clutch has been made by hand.

The bag was designed and hand made by RECOLAB (repurposed, eco-friendly, collaborative, laboratory) - a Tasmanian design group specialising in making bags and accessories from repurposed materials. 

Outer fabric: Upholstery removed from the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall in 2017. 

Lining: Repurposed offcuts of seventies style fabrics

Tassels: Pond liner vinyl (left over from a water plant nursery's new ponds).

Interfacing: Plastic mesh or "scrim" from Sydney Opera House street banners.

As this is a limited-edition product customers are able to purchase a maximum of two bags.
