Studio A is a leading Australian supported studio based in Sydney for professional artists with intellectual disability. Studio A creates pathways to overcome barriers artists with disability face, resulting in greater access to stable and fulfilling employment and ensuring their voices are heard within contemporary Australian culture.
The Sydney Opera House Shop has collaborated with Studio A artists Meagan Pelham and Emily Crockford to produce an exclusive collection. We invited Meagan and Emily to create an artwork that celebrates the Opera House through their unique view. Their resulting work features on homewares, bags, prints and stationery available only at the Opera House Shop.
By purchasing products from the collection, you are supporting Studio A to help tackle the barriers that artists with intellectual disability face and are helping them with the opportunities needed to be successful and renowned visual artists.
